I don't see why they didn't hire Mel. He did all the appropriate things in life to promote a character named MAD MAX. Though a this movie could be called Women Driver! She goes the wrong way, crashes into a lot of things, managed to destroy no less than 5 separate societies before she gives up and goes back home. Doof Warrior would still be with us today if it weren't for Furoisa .... worlds worst driver!

I personally think it's the same level but with more plotlines. I just think the idea isn't as fresh as it used to be so people are getting tired of it. Also a bunch of morons finally realised the show makes fun of them and are bombing the reviews.

I've read the Hobbit/LOTR books 3 times. I read the songs the 2nd time, and feel comfortable skipping them from now on.

I think I agree that season 4 suffers from being a little too heavy handed with the political allegories. But if we step back and remember that this is an inherently political show, and that this season is playing out in one of the most bizarre presidential election cycles in our lifetime, can we actually imagine a season 4 that didn't try to surf that wave?
